PURPOSE
» Strengthens the abdominals
» Stretches the back, hips and hamstrings
STARTING POSITION
(Resistance 6-9 lbs)
Remove the arm from the MOTR and place the MOTR out of the way.
Place the arm on the floor and place a strap on each foot. Pick up the arm and hold it in front of the chest. Roll down with the legs directly out in front of the body.
MOVEMENT SEQUENCE
Roll the back off the mat and lift the legs at the same time until the arms are overhead and the toes are level with the head.
Return to the starting position by activating the abdominals to roll back down while lowering the legs.
MAKE IT HARDER
Torso only — From the Teaser position, keep the legs in place and roll the upper body down to the starting position.
Open and close — Open and close the legs from the Teaser position.
Leg lowers — Lower and raise the legs from the Teaser position without disturbing the position of the lower back.
Walking — Alternately lower one leg while raising the other.
