FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Being one of their biggest expenditures people always have a ton of questions prior to coming to a conclusion , below are a few of the more common ones…
Unless you are a trained contractor, most roofing jobs shouldn’t be performed yourself. Also always remember that almost all manufacturers of products utilized in the repair of the roof will not warranty those items unless a certified professional carries out the work. The other thing to keep in mind is that working on a roof is going to be very hazardous, so is it really worth jeopardizing your health in order to save money?
It would be fantastic if we were able to give you a straight forward answer to that question! However, there actually is no one answer fits all for every question like that. There are several different products readily available and each has its own advantages and faults. To know which is the ideal roof for you, you ought to have an expert come and take a look at your roof and they can make recommendations according to what they have seen, the type of roof you have, the climate you live in and, of course, your budget.
It actually depends upon the type of roof and what inspections are needed. Also, remember that we will be working outside in the elements, so if the weather isn’t good and we can’t work on certain days then this will definitely add time to the task. A smaller home could take about a week or so, whereas larger commercial jobs might be anything from a few weeks to a number of months. Just see to it your roofing company keeps you updated and you should be fine.
Given that your roof is consistently exposed to the outside elements, this means your roof is going to deteriorate with time. The pace at which it degrades will depend on a variety of factors. These include; the quality of the initial components that were used and the workmanship, the amount of abuse it has to take from the elements, how well the roof is taken care of and the type of roof. Most roofing contractors will estimate around 20 years for a well-built and properly maintained roof, but that can never be promised because of the above factors. Our suggestion is to always keep your roof well maintained and get regular roof inspections to make sure it lasts as long as possible.
You should never pressure-wash your roof, as you run the risk of taking off any protective minerals that have been added to provide protection from the elements. Furthermore, you should try to stay away from chlorine-based bleach cleaners since they can also lower the life-span of your roof. When you converse with your roof cleaning expert, tell them to use an EPA-approved algaecide/fungicide to clean your roof. That will remove the unpleasant algae and discoloration without damaging the tile or shingles.

Several national publications have placed Oviedo on their nationally ranked lists as one of the best places to live in the US.[7][8][9]
In the late 1870s, individuals living a few miles south of Lake Jesup needed an easily accessible post office in the Florida back country. Andrew Aulin, an early settler and shop-owner, decided to file paperwork for a post office, and in his first site location report, needed a name that was different from any other post office in Florida.[10] Aulin liked having a Spanish name, “to honor the Spanish heritage of the state,” and decided to name his post office location “Oviedo” after the city of Oviedo in northern Spain (the capital city of the Principality of Asturias) and the University of Oviedo.[10] Some say he visited the university, while others say he just liked the sound of it, but most agree that he likely pronounced the name correctly oh-vee-AY-doh rather than the Americanized way of oh-VEE-doh.[citation needed] A recent campaign advocates for honoring Aulin’s original concept for the town’s moniker by returning to the correct Spanish pronunciation oh-vee-AY-doh).
