FAQs
As one of their largest investments people typically have a number of questions before coming to a conclusion , below are a few of the most common ones…
Unless you are a properly trained contractor, the majority of roofing jobs should not be undertaken yourself. Additionally remember that a large number of manufacturers of products utilized in the roof repair will not warranty those items unless a licensed roofing contractor carries out the job. Something else to keep in mind is that working on a roof can be very hazardous, so is it really worth jeopardizing your health so you can save money?
It would be fantastic if we were able to give you a simple response to this question! However there actually is no single answer that fits all for each question like that. There are several different products available and each will have its own advantages and disadvantages. To determine which is the right roof for you, you really should have an expert come and take a look at your roof and they can make recommendations based on what they discover, the type of roof you have, the climate you reside in and, of course, your budget.
It actually depends upon the kind of roof and exactly what inspections are needed. Also, remember that we’re working outside in the elements, so if the weather is bad and we cannot work on certain days then this is going to add time to the job. A small home might take around a week or so, while much larger commercial jobs can be anything from a few weeks to a number of months. Just be sure your roofing company keeps you updated and you should be fine.
Because your roof is always exposed to the outside elements, it means your roof is will diminish over time. The pace at which it deteriorates will be dependent on a number of factors. Those include; the grade of the original materials that were used along with the craftsmanship, the level of abuse it has to take from the elements, how well the roof is taken care of and the style of the roof. Most roofing professionals will estimate around 20 years for a well-built and well-kept roof, but that can never be guaranteed because of the above factors. Our advice is to always keep your roof well maintained and get regular checkups to make sure it lasts as long as possible.
You shouldn’t ever pressure wash your roof, as you take the risk of taking off any covering materials that have been included to give protection from the elements. Aside from that, you really should avoid chlorine-based bleach cleaning products as they can also decrease the life of your roof. When you speak with your roof cleaning specialist, ask them to use an EPA-approved algaecide/fungicide to wash your roof. This will remove the aesthetically displeasing algae and yellowing without destroying the tile or shingles.

More About South Salt Lake, UT
South Salt Lake is a city in Salt Lake County, Utah, United States and is part of the Salt Lake City Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 23,617 at the 2010 census.
Jesse Fox Jr. developed the area South Salt Lake referred to as Central Park around 1890. Mr. Fox chose the name after visiting New York and seeing Central Park there. He was impressed by the park and its design within an urban environment. Despite South Salt Lake being rural at the time, he decided to name the area Central Park. In 1925 the LDS Central Park Ward was created and named after the development. In 1936, an attempted annexation by Salt Lake City failed due to concerns over funding and implementation of a sewer system. On August 14, 1936 a resolution creating the Town of Central Park was approved by the Board of County Commissioners – however, this did last long, as voters then decided to disincorporate the town in 1937. In a close vote, voters then approved incorporation of South Salt Lake. On September 29, 1938, still in need of a sewer system, South Salt Lake voted to incorporate as the Town of South Salt Lake, with Robert R. Fitts as the first town president. The town was also lacking many other basic amenities at the time that would be easier to implement with incorporation, such as a post office and fire department. In 1939, the Works Progress Administration finally began construction of a sewer system, with a cost of $462,000. The original boundary of South Salt Lake was from 500 East to 300 West and 2100 South to Mill Creek on the south. On August 1, 1950 the population had increased enough for South Salt Lake to be designated as a third class city. This changed the form of government to a mayor and city council. The town president of the time, Marlow Callahan, became the first mayor of the City of South Salt Lake.[5] In the 1990s, South Salt Lake annexed portions of an unincorporated portion of Salt Lake County to the south, and nearly doubled in land area and population.

If you’re try to find a visually pleasing roof, this is most likely not the type you wish to choose. When presented on a roof, EPDM looks a bit like an unfurled inner tube. To assist you gain an understanding of what it takes to construct a quality business roofing, we’re going to take a look at the most typical categories of commercials roofings and the roofing materials utilized to create them. It is necessary to keep in mind that most business roofs are either flat or low slope, which limits the available roof materials.

It’s developed with multiple layers (stacks). This is a flexible roofing type as the variety of layers can be varied to help manage costs or fulfill specific sturdiness requirements you may need to attend to. Metal roof also has the advantage of having an attractive, completed look, but when spending plan and toughness are of the utmost importance, it’s smart to choose what works best instead of what looks best. Metal roofings do, however, have strong fire resistance ratings, and are both stronger and more long lasting compared to traditional business roof alternatives.
