FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Being one of their most significant investments people usually have a many questions before coming to a conclusion , listed here are a few of the most common ones…
Unless you are a trained roofing professional, the majority of roofing tasks should not be carried out yourself. Also remember that most manufacturers of products utilized in the repair of the roof will not warranty those items unless a licensed roofing contractor performs the task. Something else to bear in mind is that working on a roof could be very dangerous, so is it really worth jeopardizing your health so you can save money?
It would be fantastic if we could give you a straight forward response to this question! However, there really is no one answer that fits all for every question like that. There are plenty of different products available and each and every one will have its own benefits and faults. To determine which is the best roof for your home, you really should have a contractor come and examine your roof and they can make recommendations based on what they observe, your roof design, the environment you reside in and, of course, your budget.
It actually depends upon the type of roof you have and exactly what inspections are mandated. Also, remember that we’re working outside in the elements, so if the weather isn’t good and we can’t work on particular days then this will certainly add more time to the task. A small home may take around a week or so, whereas more substantial industrial jobs might be anything from a few weeks to a number of months. Just be sure your roofing contractor keeps you updated and you really should be fine.
Due to the fact that your roof is continuously exposed to the weather, this means your roof is going to diminish with time. The rate at which it degrades will be dependent on a number of variables. These include; the quality of the original components that were used along with the craftsmanship, the level of abuse it has to take from the weather, how well the roof is maintained and the style of the roof. Most roofing professionals will estimate around 20 years for a well-built and well-maintained roof, but obviously that can never be guaranteed because of the above factors. Our advice is to consistently keep your roof well maintained and get regular checkups to be sure it lasts as long as possible.
You should never pressure wash your roof, as you run the risk of removing any covering minerals that have been added to give shielding from the weather. Furthermore, you really should steer clear of chlorine-based bleach cleaning products since they can also decrease the lifespan of your roof. When you talk to your roof cleaning specialist, ask them to use an EPA-approved algaecide/fungicide to wash your roof. This will get rid of the unpleasant algae and yellowing without destroying the tile or shingles.

More About Fairview, OR
Fairview is a city in Multnomah County, Oregon, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 8,920.
Members of the Multnomah tribe of Chinookan Indians lived in a village near the Columbia River (the future site of Fairview) when the Lewis and Clark Expedition visited the area in 1806. By the 1840s and 1850s, white settlers began hay, grain, and livestock operations in what would become eastern Multnomah County. Railroad tracks extended to the area by the 1890s, and, as the population grew, residents began referring to the locale as Fairview because of the pleasing views of the nearby river, the Columbia River Gorge, and Mount Hood. Since another community named Fairview already existed on the Oregon Coast, the community’s first post office was named Cleone until the coastal post office closed and the name was transferred to Fairview.[5]
