FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
As one of their biggest financial investments people usually have a lotof questions prior to coming to a conclusion , below are a few of the more common ones…
Unless you’re a certified contractor, the majority of roofing work should not be performed yourself. Additionally remember that a large number of manufacturers of products utilized in the repair of the roof won’t warranty those items unless a certified professional carries out the task. Something else to bear in mind is that working on a roof may be very risky, so is it really worth risking your health so you can save money?
It would be great if we could give you a straight forward response to that question! However there actually is no single answer fits all for every question like that. There are plenty of different products readily available and each and every one will have its own advantages and disadvantages. To figure out which is the ideal roof for you, you ought to have a professional come and examine your roof and they can make suggestions according to what they have seen, the type of roof you have, the climate you reside in and, of course, your budget.
It really depends on the kind of roof and exactly what surveys are mandated. Also, bear in mind that we’re working outside in the elements, so if the weather is bad and we just can’t work on a number of days then this will definitely add more time to the task. A small home may take around a week or so, whereas more substantial industrial projects could be anything from a few weeks to a few months. Just be sure your roofing contractor keeps you updated and you should be fine.
Considering that your roof is always exposed to the weather, it means your roof is going to degrade gradually. The speed at which it breaks down will depend on a number of factors. These include; the grade of the initial materials that were used as well as the workmanship, the level of abuse it will have to take from the elements, how well the roof is maintained and the type of roof. Most roofing companies will estimate around 20 years for a well-built and properly maintained roof, but that can never be guaranteed because of the above variables. Our suggestion is to always keep your roof well maintained and get regular checkups to make sure it lasts as long as possible.
You should never pressure wash your roof, as you take the risk of taking off any covering minerals that have been added to give protection from the elements. In addition, you should try to stay away from chlorine-based bleach cleaners since they can easily also reduce the lifespan of your roof. When you speak to your roof cleaning professional, ask them to use an EPA-approved algaecide/fungicide to clean your roof. This will clear away the unpleasant algae and staining without damaging the tile or shingles.

More About Tualatin, OR
Tualatin (/tuˈɔːlətɪn/) is a city located primarily in Washington County in the U.S. state of Oregon. A small portion of the city is also located in neighboring Clackamas County. It is a southwestern suburb in the Portland Metropolitan Area that is located south of Tigard. The population was 26,054 at the 2010 census.
The name of the city is taken from the Tualatin River, which flows along most of the city’s northern boundary. It is probably a Native American word meaning “lazy” or “sluggish” but possibly meaning “treeless plain” for the plain near the river or “forked” for its many tributaries.[6] According to Oregon Geographic Names, a post office with the spelling “Tualitin” was established November 5, 1869, and the spelling changed to “Tualatin” in 1915.
