FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Being one of their biggest investments people always have a number of questions before makingany decisions , listed here are a number of the more common ones…
Unless you are a qualified roofing professional, most roofing work really should not be performed yourself. Also remember that the majority of manufacturers of products used in the roof repair won’t warranty those items unless a licensed professional carries out the work. The other thing to bear in mind is that working on a roof can be very dangerous, so is it really worth risking your health for you to save money?
It would be fantastic if we could give you a straight forward answer to this question! However, there actually is no one answer fits all for every question like that. There are a lot of different products readily available and each and every one will have its own merits and faults. To determine which is the best roof for your home, you should have a contractor come and examine your roof and they can make suggestions according to what they observe, the type of roof you have, the climate you reside in and, of course, your budget.
It definitely depends upon the kind of roof you have and exactly what inspections are required. Also, bear in mind that we’re working outdoors in the elements, so if the weather is bad and we cannot work on certain days then this will certainly add more time to the job. A smaller home might take about a week or so, while larger industrial projects may be anything from a few weeks to a few months. Just be sure your roofing company keeps you updated and you should be fine.
Due to the fact that your roof is always exposed to the outside elements, this means your roof is going to deteriorate over time. The rate at which it deteriorates will be dependent on a number of factors. Those include; the grade of the initial components used along with the workmanship, the level of abuse it will have to take from the weather, how well the roof is maintained and the type of roof. Most roofing companies will quote around 20 years for a well-built and properly maintained roof, but that can never be promised due to the above issues. Our suggestion is to consistently keep your roof well maintained and get regular checkups to make sure it lasts as long as possible.
You should never pressure-wash your roof, as you run the risk of getting rid of any covering materials that have been added to give shielding from the elements. On top of that, you really should keep away from chlorine-based bleach cleaning products as they may also cut down the life-span of your roof. When you converse with your roof cleaning professional, ask them to use an EPA-approved algaecide/fungicide to clean your roof. That will clear away the unsightly algae and yellowing without ruining the tile or shingles.

More About Gainesville, VA
Gainesville is a census-designated place (CDP) in western Prince William County, Virginia, United States. The population was 11,481 in the 2010 census.[3]
Gainesville was once a changing point for stagecoach horses on the Fauquier & Alexandria Turnpike. In earlier times, the village that became known as “Gainesville” actually had two other names, if only briefly. In colonial days, the region was known as the “Middle Grounds,” in reference to its location between Broad Run and Bull Run. In the early 1800s, Samuel Love of Buckland Hall started work on the Warrenton-Alexandria Turnpike. In the hamlet where the turnpike passed through the Middle Grounds, a new stable was erected for stagecoach drivers to switch horses. Other businesses followed, and the settlement became known as New Stable. In 1846, a post office by that name was opened there in Richard Graham’s hotel and store. Mr. Graham also operated a large stable that catered to the drovers and stage drivers and other less pretentious travelers. The person responsible for bringing the railroad through the village was Thomas Brawner Gaines (1814-1856), who had begun buying up property in the area as early as 1835, and later became a major landowner.[4]

Roofing system assessments at routine periods root out roofing system problems prior to they can even manifest themselves; extending the life-span of your roofing. Most house owners only focus on their roofs when there is noticeable damage, such as leakages and structural failure. Truth is, with regular assessment such problems are typically averted.

Roofing system examinations save you both money and time and are one of the most fundamental roofing system maintenance practices. There are several factors that can cause a roof’s condition to deteriorate with time. These are the results property owners are least familiar with because the indications are subtle and take time to show.: Weather aspects are the main cause of roofing damage.
The weather condition slowly wears away and deteriorates the roofing material, and put stress onto the roofing system structure. Poor or absence of roofing upkeep practices such as cleaning, painting, mold elimination and snow scraping contribute to the using down of the roofing. Not all roofing experts are as excellent as marketed. Due to lack of skill or merely carelessness, a roofing system is incorrectly installed, impacting its efficiency as a roof and its durability to damage.
