FAQs
Being one of their most significant financial investments people usually have a ton of questions before coming to a conclusion , below are a few of the more commonplace ones…
Unless you are a trained roofing professional, most roofing work should never be undertaken yourself. Also always remember that a lot of manufacturers of products used in the repair of the roof will not warranty those items unless a licensed professional performs the task. Something else to always remember is that working on a roof can be very dangerous, so is it really worth risking your health so you can save money?
It would be really good if we could give you a simple response to this question! However, there actually is no single answer that fits all for every question like that. There are many unique products available and each and every one has its own advantages and faults. To determine which is the ideal roof for your home, you should have an expert come and check out your roof and they can make suggestions based on what they discover, your roof design, the environment you reside in and, of course, your budget.
It really is dependent on the type of roof you have and exactly what inspections are needed. Also, remember that we will be working outside in the elements, so if the weather is bad and we cannot work on particular days then this will add time to the job. A smaller home may take around a week or so, while much larger industrial projects may be anything from a few weeks to a number of months. Just make sure your roofing contractor keeps you updated and you should be fine.
Due to the fact that your roof is continuously exposed to the weather, it means your roof is going to deteriorate gradually. The rate at which it deteriorates will be dependent on a range of variables. These include; the quality of the original components that were used as well as the craftsmanship, the amount of abuse it has to take from the elements, how well the roof is maintained and the style of the roof. Most roofing professionals will estimate around 20 years for a well-built and properly maintained roof, but that can never be promised as a result of the above issues. Our advice is to always keep your roof well maintained and get regular roof inspections to be sure it lasts as long as possible.
You should never pressure wash your roof, as you run the risk of removing any covering materials that have been added to give protection from the weather. Furthermore, you should stay away from chlorine-based bleach cleaners as they could also diminish the life of your roof. When you converse with your roof cleaning specialist, tell them to use an EPA-approved algaecide/fungicide to wash your roof. That will clear away the unsightly algae and staining without ruining the tile or shingles.

A small military outpost was built in 1838 on the western shore of Lake Fumecheliga (later Lake Maitland) during the Second Seminole War. After the Civil War, new residents arrived in the area. Christopher Columbus Beasley, perhaps the first permanent settler, arrived at Lake Maitland in 1871.
