FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Being one of their biggest investments people typically have a plenty of questions before coming to a conclusion , below are some of the most common ones…
Unless you are a trained roofing professional, the majority of roofing tasks really should not be carried out yourself. In addition keep in mind that a lot of manufacturers of products used in the roof repair won’t warranty those products unless a licensed professional carries out the work. The other thing to keep in mind is that working on a roof may be very dangerous, so is it really worth risking your health for you to save money?
It would be great if we could give you a simple answer to that question! But there really is no single answer fits all for every question like that. There are plenty of unique products available and each one has its own benefits and disadvantages. To figure out which is the right roof for your home, you ought to have an expert come and take a look at your roof and they can make suggestions based on what they see, the type of roof you have, the environment you live in and, of course, your budget.
It really depends on the kind of roof and what surveys are required. Also, keep in mind that we will be working outside in the elements, so if the weather is bad and we cannot work on particular days then this will definitely add time to the job. A smaller home could take about a week or so, whereas larger industrial jobs may be anything from several weeks to a few months. Just make sure your roofing contractor keeps you updated and you should be fine.
Considering that your roof is consistently subjected to the weather, it means your roof is going to degrade over time. The rate at which it deteriorates will depend upon a variety of variables. Those include; the grade of the initial components that were used as well as the craftsmanship, the amount of abuse it has to take from the weather, how well the roof is preserved and the type of roof. Most roofing professionals will quote around 20 years for a well-built and properly maintained roof, but that can never be guaranteed because of the above variables. Our suggestion is to consistently keep your roof well maintained and get regular roof inspections to be sure it lasts as long as possible.
You should never pressure-wash your roof, as you take the risk of taking off any covering materials that have been added to give cover from the elements. Also, you should stay away from chlorine-based bleach cleaning products since they may also lower the life-span of your roof. When you speak with your roof cleaning professional, ask them to use an EPA-approved algaecide/fungicide to wash your roof. This will clear away the undesirable algae and staining without damaging the tile or shingles.

More About Prosperity, SC
Prosperity is a town in Newberry County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 1,180 at the 2010 census.
Before being named Prosperity, the area was called Frog Level due to its low-lying location and large numbers of frogs living in adjacent ponds. Captain Matthew Hall settled in the area in 1827, and established a store and post office in the early 1830s. The town expanded with the arrival of the railroad in the 1850s, and in later decades would profit from its location along two major rail lines. After a fire destroyed part of the town in 1873, the town’s residents voted to change the name of the town to “Prosperity” after the Prosperity Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church.[3]

While liquid applied finishes are highly flexible, self-flashing and easily applied to contoured surface areas, they have low permeability and need consistent density. Lead roofing later joined bronze as a popular choice for cathedrals and castles throughout Europe during middle ages times. Many of today’s low slope metal roofing systems are made from corrugated galvanized steel a steel sheet covered with zinc.
