On 11/07/2001, in Houston, Hamilton and one co-defendant murdered a store clerk during a robbery. Hamilton entered a convenience store armed with a handgun. Hamilton fatally shot a 36-year old Iranian male and then shot a 38 year old Iranian male. Hamilton then removed a cash register and left the store.
