Finally, let's assign some color to the molecule types so we can more easily distinguish them in a network display. Go to the Molecule page by clicking 'Molecule' in the navigation header. Then, double-click the Galpha molecule. The 'Molecule Color' button nect to the molecule will open a color dialog.

We can, for instance, color Galpha blue.

And assign other colors to the other molecule types...

To obtain an overview of the model we can go to the Model page where all molecules, complex species, complexes and reactions are listed.
The file "G_protein_8.4.dbf" represents the model as it should be at this stage of the tutorial.

We can also use the NetworkViewer to generate a network from the reactions we defined in the model. Clicking on 'Network Viewer' will start the viewer appliation with the current model pre-loaded.

The default layout simply attempts to optimally use the view space.

A right-click (Mac: control-click) on the Ligand will allow us to put that (single-molecule) complex species into the first layer of a hierarchical network view.

You can manually adjust the layout by moving around nodes (complex species) and reaction symbols (the small triangles representing the reactions).

The 'Preferences' dialog also permits some customizations.

For example, we can increase the font size for the complex species names.

Clicking on the reaction triangles will also provide detailed information about the complexes involved in the particular reaction. For more details about the Network Viewer please see: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24934175
