The Model-panel allows you to import models that were created with the Simmune Modeler into a database and choose the currently active model by double clicking on the corresponding line in the list of models. A database can contain an unlimited number of Models. When you import a model the Simmune Analyzer will copy the model definition into the database. Generally the Analyzer will need a model to operate on; most parts of the user interface will be disabled until you've selected a model by double-clicking on a model in the list.
If you make changes to a Model after you imported it to a database, they will have no effect unless you reimport the model. You don't have to replace the old model, simply import the new version in addition to the old one and run the simulations you are interested in using the new model. This allows you to keep track of revisions you made, even if you keep the same file name for the model.

Import models into a database by clicking the "" button. A new dialog will appear. Select the Simmune Model you'd like to import by clicking the button beside the "Model File" field. Give your model a descriptive name. If you do not enter a name, the name of the model file without path and extension will be set as a default. Use the Note field to keep notes about model revisions etc. Click "Add" button to finalize the import of the model.

You can make changes to the Name and Note fields simply by clicking into them and editing their content.
