All of these things can harm your fertility, so make sure that you are doing everything in your power to make it easier.


Especially consider folic acid as a supplement, as it is very beneficial to babies during early pregnancy.
Pre-conception visits to your doctor, physical and medical tests, and quitting unhealthy habits like smoking or drinking are the basis of planning for a healthy pregnancy.
Given that most women do not actually discover they are pregnant until at least six weeks of pregnancy, it is important not to wait until then to take the supplements. However since no healthy level of drinking has been established, it is recommended that women avoid alcohol if they are or might become pregnant.
