Pregnant woman arrested

Debbie Belt, 29, of Anderson was arrested this afternoon after police said she led them on a chase at speeds over 100 mph. Debbie Belt, 28, of Anderson was arrested this evening after leading Anderson Police officers on a chase from Anderson to Palo Cedro at speeds over 100 mph, police said.


Belt, who was pregnant, was taken to Mercy Medical Center in Redding for unknown injuries, Harper said. A video of a pregnant woman's arrest in Barstow is drawing questions and has sparked an internal investigation.
