The Joker card game is a simple yet engaging game that can be played with a standard 52-card deck, plus one Joker card. The objective is to be the first player to get rid of all your cards by matching them with the card currently on top of the discard pile. The discard pile starts with the Joker card face up. Players take turns drawing one card from the deck and then choosing to either keep it in their hand or play it onto the discard pile. A card can only be played if it matches the rank or suit of the card currently on top of the discard pile. For example, if the top card is a red 7, a player can play any red 7 or any card of the same suit (hearts or diamonds) as the 7. The Joker is a wild card and can be played on any card, regardless of rank or suit, to keep the discard pile going or to get rid of a high-ranking card in your hand. However, using the Joker often comes with a consequence, such as drawing two extra cards from the deck. The game continues until one player runs out of cards, at which point they are declared the winner.
