Ludo is a popular and simple board game played in many parts of the world, often referred to as 'Snakes and Ladders' in some regions. The objective of the game is straightforward: be the first player to move all of one's game pieces from the starting point, located at the bottom left corner of the board, to the finishing point, which is typically at the top right corner. The game is played on a square board divided into 100 squares, with a different number assigned to each square. Each player starts with four tokens or pieces, which are usually small, colored discs or cubes. Players take turns rolling a six-sided die, and the number rolled determines how many spaces the player's token moves forward on the board. If a player lands on a square with a ladder, they climb the ladder, which provides a shortcut to a safer square. Conversely, if a player lands on a square with a snake's head, they must slide down the snake to a less advantageous square. The game continues until one player successfully moves all their tokens to the finish line, thereby winning the game.
