Carrom is a popular and fast-paced indoor game played on a smooth, circular board with a raised edge. The objective is to flick discs, called 'carrom men', using a hand-held striker, and score points by sinking them into one of the four corner pockets. The game typically involves two or four players, using discs of different colors. Each player has their own set of four discs, usually assigned a specific color like black, red, blue, and yellow. The game begins with the discs being placed in a specific triangular formation in the center of the board, with the striker positioned nearby. Players take turns flicking their discs, aiming to land them in a pocket. If a player successfully sinks one of their discs, they earn points and get another turn. If a disc from the central pile is knocked out, the player who knocked it out gets a bonus point and gets to continue their turn. The game continues until all the discs are sunk, and the player with the highest score wins.
