The carrom board game begins with each player receiving a set of four distinct colored discs, typically black, red, blue, and green. Players take turns flicking their fingers from behind their designated 'strike line' at the discs, aiming to strike the 'queens' (the black discs) out of the well and onto the playing surface. The primary objective is to flick out all of one's own colored discs, followed by the opponent's discs, and finally, to successfully remove the last queen disc. Players must also strategically clear the board of their own discs by flicking them into the well, preventing opponents from scoring points by pocketing them.
