carrom board game instructions
Videos
The carrom board game begins with each player receiving a set of four distinct colored discs, typically black, blue, red, and white. These discs, known as 'coins', are placed symmetrically in a quincunx pattern in the center of the board, within the boundary of the 'base line'. The objective is to flick these discs using a flicking device (often a small piece of cloth or a specialized striker) across the smooth, flat surface of the board, aiming to remove them from the central area and land them into one of the four corner pockets located at the base of the board. Players take turns, flicking one disc per turn, and the game progresses as they attempt to clear their own colored discs from the board while simultaneously preventing their opponents from doing the same. The first player to successfully remove all of their discs, or the player with the fewest discs remaining on the board when time runs out or all discs are removed, is declared the winner.
