Speed is a fast-paced, two-player card game demanding quick thinking and memory. To play, each player is dealt a small pile of cards (typically 3 or 5 cards face down), with the remainder of the deck forming a draw pile in the center. The goal is to be the first to empty your hand of all cards by matching the rank of the card currently face-up on the draw pile. On your turn, you draw the top card from the draw pile and then have the option to discard it onto a discard pile in front of you, or you can play it immediately if it matches the rank of the card currently face-up on the draw pile. If you play a card, you immediately draw another from the draw pile to replace it, keeping the pace accelerating rapidly. The game ends as soon as one player successfully plays all their cards, claiming victory!
