Call Break is a lively and engaging four-player trick-taking card game, typically played with a standard 52-card deck. The objective is to accumulate points by winning specific "bids" during the course of the game, which represent the number of tricks a team aims to take. Gameplay unfolds over multiple hands, each featuring distinct bidding and playing phases. After a standard deal where each player receives 13 cards, teams (usually partners sitting opposite each other) first engage in a bidding round, agreeing on the number of tricks they believe they can collectively win. Following the bidding, the player to the left of the dealer leads the first trick, and players take turns playing one card each, following the lead suit if possible. Winning the trick goes to the team that played the highest card of the led suit (or the highest trump card if any were bid and declared).
