Purpose of Research: This research is intended to help understand how people make economic decisions, using human subjects as participants.
Procedure to be Used: As a participant in the experiment, you will be asked to make decisions and complete a demographic questionnaire.

{% endif %}Possible Risks: Risks are minimal and no greater than those encountered in everyday activities. Confidentiality breach is a potential risk, but individual identities are not stored on the dataset so this risk is minimal.
Potential Benefits: Besides monetary compensation for your participation, there is no other direct benefit to you. {# You could benefit indirectly if this research leads to a better understanding of economic interactions.#}
Compensation: You will be paid after you complete the experiment. The amount of money earned depends upon your decisions and decisions of other subjects in the experiment. You will not receive payment if you withdraw from the experiment before it ends. You will be marked as a dropout and not get paid if you are unresponsive for a long time during the interactive task. {# You are guaranteed to receive a participation fee $5 regardless of your decisions.#}
Confidentiality: Data from the experiment are recorded using randomly assigned identification numbers, so individual subject's choices will not be stored in the analysis dataset. The data will be stored indefinitely on a secure location in one of the researchers' computers and will be accessed only by them. {% if not mturk %} The data may be used in future research. Your name, student identification number, email, and address may be provided to the University Business Office for the purpose of facilitating your payment for participating in this study.
