You are now entering the second part of the experiment.

In this part, you will still remain your role (client or expert) as in the previous part of the experiment.

This part of the experiment will be identical to the previous part, consisting of 10 rounds: In every round, the client is facing a problem, and the expert invests tokens to diagnose the problem and recommend solutions. The client may have an opportunity to make his/her own choice of solutions after receiving the solution recommendation from the expert.

Notice that the payment rule remains identical to the rule in the previous part of experiment that you just played:
For the client, if he/she receives the correct solution to his/her problem, he/she will receive 120 tokens. And if he/she does not receive the correct solution, he/she will receive 20 tokens.
For the expert, he/she receives 120 tokens as the payment for providing diagnosis and solution for the client, no matter whether the expert successfully solve the client’s problem or not. But the diagnosis may be costly, following the cost table below:

Diagnostic Accuracy 50% 60% 70% 80% 90% 100%
Cost of diagnosis in tokens 0 1 4 8 16 25

If you are clear about the instruction, click “Next” to enter the second part of the experiment. If you have any questions, please raise your hand, and an experimenter will come to assist you.
