You have been invited to this research study about humnan behavior modeling. We need your consent to proceed.

What the study is about
The purpose of this research is to better understand human behaviors under the assumption of bounded rationality. We are interested in understanding how humans make decisions in interactive settings where both parties could update their strategies based on the decisions from the other side.
What we will ask you to do
We will ask you to play a wildlife poaching game for about 15 minutes. There will be training and short exit questions before and after the game, which should take about 5 minutes in total. You will be asked to answer some questions during the training to make sure you understand the concepts. *Getting those questions correct is essential for getting approved for the task.*
Compensation for participation
You will be compensated with a $1 fixed payment for completing the study and an additional bonus depending on your performance in the game. The bonus will be 10% of the total points you earned during the game. You will need to pass a very short test to make sure you understand the setting of the study in order to get compensated.
Taking part is voluntary
The participant’s involvement is voluntary. However, completing the whole study is required for compensation stated above. You may discontinue at any time if you are not comfortable with these conditions.
If you have questions
The main researcher conducting this study is Xinming Liu, an undergraduate student at Cornell University. If you have questions, you may contact Xinming Liu at xl379@cornell.edu.
