        <strong>You will be given the opportunity at the beginning of each round to choose whether you want to
        participate in that round.  There will be a cost for participating and your individual cost will be
            displayed for you to review prior to your decision.</strong>
    </p>
    <p>
        If you choose to participate then your cost will be deducted from your payoff at the end of that round.
    </p>
    <p>
        If you choose to abstain (not participate) then your payoff will be determined in the same way, but you will
        not be able to place or remove any tokens and will not be able to influence the outcome.
    </p>
    <p>
        The payoff table below will be displayed on each page of this experiment for your reference.
