There are other people in this experiment as well.
Every participant will be paired with one other person. You will make a transaction with this person.
Every person in the experiment will be given a pseudonym.
To make the transactions transparent, a summary of all transactions will be shown after the transactions.
The summary includes all participants’ pseudonyms, the amounts that were sent and the time of the transactions (see example below).
One participant will be participant A the other participant will be participant B.
Participant A will initially be given 100 ECUs (Experimental Credit Units;
one unit is the equivalent of $0,02) for this experiment. Participant A will have the opportunity to send some, all or none of its ECUs to participant B.
Each ECU sent to participant B will be tripled.
For example, if participant A sends 2 ECUs, participant B will receive 6 ECUs.
If participant A sends 52 ECUs participant B will receive 156 ECUs.
Participant B will then decide how many ECUs to send back to participant A and how many ECUs to keep.
Before and after these transactions you will be asked some questions.
If you're ready, please press 'Next' to start the experiment.
