In this experiment you will see the outcomes of two options in a sequential manner. Each option has either one or two outcomes that occur with some probabilities. In each round, only the realization (outcome) of one of the options will be displayed. Think of it as someone else making a choice and you observe the choice and the outcome. For example, you might see something like 'Option 1- outcome 10 cents', or 'Option 2- outcome 5 cents' or 'Option 1- outcome 3 cents', etc.

You will see 40 outcomes in total. At any given time, a history of the realizations (outcomes) of all the past options and current option will be displayed on the screen. After viewing all 40 rounds, you will make a final choice between the same two options for a much larger (100 times!) real payoff. For example, an outcome of 1 now earns you 1 EUR instead of 1 cent, an outcome of 4 earns you 4 EUR, an outcome of 7 earns you 7 EUR, etc.
