Der städtische Haushalt sieht bis zum Jahr 2025 ein Investitionsprogramm von insgesamt 245 Mio. Euro für Maßnahmen zum Klimaschutz und zur Klimaanpassung vor. Eine wichtige Maßnahme ist die Förderung von Photovoltaik – sowohl auf Dächern als auch auf privaten Balkonen. Ein entsprechendes Förderprogramm wird derzeit entwickelt.
