<b>Study Title: Decision Making in Interactive Settings

<p><b>You are being asked to participate in a research study.</b> Your participation in this research study is voluntary and you do not have to participate. This document contains important information about this study and what to expect if you decide to participate.  Please consider the information carefully. Feel free to ask questions before making your decision whether or not to participate.</p>

<p><b>The purpose of this study</b> is to better understand how individuals make decisions in an interactive setting. 
<br>
<br>
    <b>If you agree to participate, we will ask you to do the following things:</b>
<br>
<br>
Complete a several brief questionnaires describing how you feel.
<br>
<br>
Complete two interactive decision tasks that could give you a monetary payoff. 
<br>
<br>
<b>The total estimated time needed to participate in the study is 45 minutes.</b></p>

The <b>risk</b> associated with this study is no greater than everyday life.
<br>
<br>
The <b>benefits</b> of being in the study include helping business professionals understand how individuals make decisions in various settings. We hope you find the study interesting.
<br>
<br>
<b>Compensation:</b> you will receive extra credit as well as have an opportunity to earn a monetary payment at the end of the study. 
<br>

<b>Confidentiality and Privacy Protections:</b>

Your responses to this study will be anonymous and held in confidence.  Your name will not be matched with your responses.  
<br>
<br>
The data resulting from your participation may be made available to other researchers in the future for research purposes not detailed within this consent form. In these cases, the data will contain no identifying information that could associate you with it, or with your participation in any study. 
<br>
<br>
The records of this study will be stored securely and kept confidential. All publications will exclude any information that will make it possible to identify you as a participant. Throughout the study, the researchers will notify you of new information that may become available and that might affect your decision to remain in the study.
