  • In each round, the Green player got 45 seconds to perform as many additions as possible out of four.

  • Each addition consisted of four three-digit numbers. One example is below:

  • 216 + 357 + 593 + 489 = 'enter here'

  • The total number of questions that the Green player answered correctly (out of the four) determined the wheel of fortune <<<<<<< HEAD that gets assigned to the Yellow player which is you. The wheel of fortune has only two colours: red and blue. Each colour corresponds to different earnings for the Yellow player. In particular, red corresponds to $0, and blue to $XXX.

  • ======= that gets assigned to the Yellow player. The wheel of fortune has only three colours: red, purple and blue. Each colour corresponds to different earnings for the Yellow player. In particular, red corresponds to $0.00, purple to $1.00 and blue to $2.00.

  • Once the wheel of fortune gets assigned to the Yellow player, it is automatically spinned by the researcher. The colour where the wheel stops determines the earnings of the Yellow player.

  • The higher the number of correct questions solved by the Green player, the greater the chance that <<<<<<< HEAD the wheel will land on the colour blue that corresponds to a higher amount. An example is given below.

  • As can be seen above, the number of questions solved determines the exact color-composition of the the wheel. In particular, the higher the number of correct questions increases the portion of the wheel that is coloured blue.

  • Yellow players will only be shown the earnings drawn from the wheel of fortune (that is, $0 or $2) for each round and then be asked to pay the Green player out of the separate pot of $2. We will then ask some questions related to it for each of the 20 rounds.
