You are invited to participate in a research study. The study is conducted by researchers in the Department of
    Economics from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland and funded by the Department
    of Economics of the University of Fribourg.
    The purpose of this research is understanding human decision-making. In the study, you will make decisions that have
    payoff consequences for you. Your participation starts by clicking the “START - I consent to take part in the
    study”-button.
<br><br>
Your participation in this study will take about 60 minutes. For your participation in the study, you will receive
    EUR 2, plus an additional amount based on your decisions during the study. The detailed compensation scheme will
    be explained to you in the instructions of the study. Importantly, the determination of the additional amount is, first, at no means random and, second, not depending on the decisions of other participants.

    There are no risks associated with this research. The benefits from this study include monetary payment as indicated by the researchers.

Your participation in this research is completely voluntary and anonymous. If you choose to participate, you may change your mind and leave the study at any time. You may also withdraw your participation or your data at any time. Refusal to participate, stopping your participation or withdrawing your data will involve no penalty other than non-eligibility for compensation.

Your data will be kept completely confidential by not recording your name in combination with your data. When the research is completed, the data that is kept does not include personal information, only choices are kept. The researchers who have requested your participation will not share any personal information about you.
