Invitation to participate in a research study:
Alexander Schneeberger and Erin Krupka invite you to participate in a research study about how
individuals make decisions in different situations.
The research advances knowledge in the fields of economics and psychology by integrating an
understanding of how attitudes affect personal decision-making.
Description of subject involvement:

In addition, you will be asked to fill out a brief questionnaire at the end of the study.

Confidentiality:
We will not collect any identifying information such as names, email addresses.
However, your Prolific IDs will be collected for payment purposes.

Furthermore, we will use your Prolific IDs to link your responses in the previous study titled
"Decision-Making Survey" with your responses in this study.
These two studies are part of the same research project.
Your IDs will only be used to link responses in these two studies.

Prolific IDs will not be shared with anyone outside of the research team.
Data from the study will be kept for the lifespan of the research (a minimum of 3 years) for
record-keeping purposes.
During this period, data from the study will be stored in a locked room on a password-protected computer.
Records will be kept confidential. However, the Institutional Review Board or university and
government officials responsible for monitoring this study may inspect these records.
Voluntary nature of the study:
Participation in this study is entirely voluntary.
You may stop and exit the survey at any time you feel uncomfortable with the tasks.
