Suppose in the first period you consume 64 tokens, then your utility in the first period is √64 = 8 and your saving is 100-64=36 tokens.

Example – 2
Suppose in the first period you consume 121 tokens, then your utility in the first period is √121 = 11 and your borrowing is 100-121=21 tokens.

Example – 3
Suppose in the first period you consume 64 tokens and save 36 tokens. Then, your income in the second period is 100 + 36*(1+0.05) = 137.8 tokens.

Example – 4
Suppose in the first period you consume 121 tokens and borrow 21 tokens. Then, your income in the second period is 100 + (-21)*(1+0.05) = 77.95 tokens.

Example – 5
Suppose the game consists of 2 periods and you consume 64 tokens and 100 tokens respectively. Hence, your per-period utilities are 8(√64) and 10(√100) respectively. Then, your overall utility in the experiment is 8 + 0.99*10 = 17.9.

Example – 6
Suppose the game consists of 3 periods and you consume 64 tokens, 100 tokens, 121 tokens respectively. Your per-period utilities are 8(√64), 10(√100), and 11(√121) respectively. Then, your overall utility in the experiment is 8 + 0.99*10 + (0.99*0.99)*11 = 28.7.

Example – 7
Suppose your lifetime utility is 200 tokens. Then, your total earning is 200*0.05=10 Euro.
