Firm Managers: In the second part of each set, there will be a firm manager. The manager will be selected
from among the four employees in the firm. Each firm will have four employees who perform the same task as in the first part of Stage II.
However, one employee will also serve as the firm manager. For the remainder of the set, one of the four people in your group will be the
manager. The manager is always the same person.
<br>
During each round, the manager will be able to type messages to the other employees in his or her firm.
Except for the following restrictions, the manager may type whatever he or she wants.
<br>
Restrictions on Messages:
<br>
<br>
1. Please do not identify yourself or send any information that could be used to identify you (e.g. age, race, gender, etc.)
<br>
2. Please refrain from using obscene or offensive language
<br>
<br>
When it is time for the manager to enter a message, the computer will display a box into which the manager can type their messages.
The sole job of the manager is to send messages to the other members of the firm and will not be taking part otherwise in the search process.
<br>
<br>
Selection Mechanism: At the beginning of each set, you will be informed the mechanism that will be used to select the manager of your firm. The selection mechanism
will take one of three forms:
<br>
<br>
1. Random: Your manager will be randomly selected among one employee of the firm, with each employee having an equal probability of being selected.
<br>
2. Voting: All employees will vote for one employee to serve as the manager of the firm. Ties between different employees will be broken randomly.
<br>
3. Competition: The employee that had the highest value earned in the first round of set will be chosen as manager. Ties will
be broken randomly.
<br>

During the selection process, information will be provided to you about the other members of your firm, including their score on the quiz, their payoff from the first
part of the set, and the number of times the "search!" button was clicked during the first part of the set.
