Introduction

{% block content %}
This experiment will consist of three stages (I, II, and III), each made up of a series of choices. Each stage will have several parts. We will first proceed through
Stage I, and you will then receive new instructions for Stage II, and finally one last set of instructions for
Stage III.
At the end of the experiment, we will randomly select one choice from both Stage I and Stage II (as determined by a random number).
The earnings from these choices will be the only choices used for payment for the experiment today for Stages I and II. That is, each of you will make
choices in Stage I and II. At the end of the experiment, we will randomly select one choice from each of Stage I and II, and this will
be the choices from these two stages that count as payment for the experiment. However, since you will not know
which choice this will be, you should treat your choices in these two stages as if they counted, since one of your choices will count.
Additionally, you will be paid for two choices made in Stage III in addition to the choices picked for payment from Stages I and II.
Are there any questions before we proceed?
We will now proceed to instructions for Stage I.
