This experiment will consist of three rounds, two stages per round. In each round,
you will belong to a group of three participants. The participants in your group will remain the same for both stages
in a round, but groups will be randomly reformed for each round. In each round, you will be asked to complete the same
set of tasks.
For this study, you will start round 1, stage 1 by being put into a randomly formed group
of {{ Constants.players_per_group }} participants. Each participant in
your group is randomly assigned an initial income value, either $50, $80, or $110. Each participant will then be asked
to vote for an income tax rate from 0%-100%, inclusive.
The median tax rate chosen in your group will be implemented and collected from each group members' round 1, stage 1 income.
The total income tax collected will then be redistributed evenly to the three group members to determine each member's final stage-one income.
In the second stage of each round, you will play an easy math game in which you have 90 seconds to solve correctly as many addition and subtraction questions as you can.
Your relative rank in solving these math questions will determine your initial income.
The group participant who answers correctly the most number of math questions will earn an initial income of $110.
The group participant with the second highest number of correctly answered math questions will earn an initial income of $80, The group participant who answers correctly the fewest number of math questions will earn an initial income of $50.
After the initial incomes have been determined, the procedure for voting, collecting, and redistributing income tax will be repeated to determine participants’ final stage-two incomes.
