<h3>Welcome to our Online Macroeconomic Experiment!</h3>

Thank you for your interest in participating in our online experiment.
    </p>


    <p>
<b>Note: The experimental software will not work properly on small screens like cellphones, so please use a laptop or other device with large enough screen.</b>
    </p>

    <p>
As will be discussed in detail on the next pages, your main task will be to forecast key macroeconomic variables based on information on the past developments of an artificial economy. Therefore, participants should have a basic knowledge of macroeconomics and monetary policy in order to perform well in the experiment. Therefore, you are also required to answer  a few multiple-choice questions on macroeconomics before the proper experiment. The experiment is anonymous, the data from your choices will only be linked to your session ID, not to your name. Your answers will not affect in any way the difficulty of the proper experiment. After the main part of the experiment and before the payment confirmation you will be asked to fill out a short questionnaire.
    </p>


   <p>
Participating in this experiment (including reading and understanding the instructions)
       should take you between 60 and 90 minutes. However, there is no built-in time limit.
       We expect that the average payment for a participant who does reasonably well in the experiment lies between 23 and 25 Euro.
       Your exact payment depends on your own performance in the experiment.
        </p>
