    <b> Welcome to this experiment! </b>

    This experiment is part of a research project on decision making.
    The duration of the experiment will vary among participants, but on average will be equal to approximately <b> 45 minutes</b>.
</p>

<p align="justify">
    The experiment consists of three parts, named <b> Part 1</b>, <b> Part 2</b>, and <b> Part 3</b>.
    In each of these parts, you can earn money with the decisions you make.
    Your earnings may depend on your own decisions, decisions of other participants, and random events.
    How precisely your earnings depend on these decisions and events is described in the instructions.
    Therefore, it is important that you <b> read the instructions carefully</b>.
</p>

    <b> Important: </b> Unlike some other experiments, <b> <u> this experiment does not involve any deception</u></b>.
    That means that all instructions you receive are truthful.

    Your total earnings will be equal to the sum of your earnings in each of the three parts.
</p>

    <b> Important: </b> The only way for you to be paid your total earnings is for you to <b> complete the <u> entire</u> experiment</b>, unless otherwise noted.

    Once you have completed the experiment, you will see the message <i> "You may now close your internet browser." </i>
    From that moment onwards, your total earnings will be paid to you within 5 working days.
</p>
