In this experiment, you can earn money with the decisions you make.
Your earnings may depend on your own decisions, decisions of other participants, and random events.
How precisely your earnings depend on these decisions and events is described in the instructions.
Therefore, it is important that you <b> read the instructions carefully</b>.
If you have questions at any point during the experiment, please raise your hand.
An experimenter will come to your cubicle and answer your questions in private.

This experiment consists of three parts, <b> Part 1</b>, <b> Part 2</b>, and <b> Part 3</b>.
The instructions for each part will appear on your computer screen right before the start of the respective part.
</p>

You can earn money in Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3.
Your total earnings will be equal to the sum of your earnings in each of these parts and will be paid to you in cash at the end of the experiment.
This will happen <b> individually </b> and <b> confidentially</b>.
</p>

All decisions in this experiment are <b> private </b> and <b> anonymous</b>.
That means that no other participant is able to identify your decisions during or after the experiment and that the experimenters are not able to link your decisions to your name.
