You are invited to take part in research on decision making, in which you will make decisions with real monetary outcomes for you and other participants.

This information letter provides you with information about the type and methods of the study in which you are about to participate. It is therefore important that you read this document carefully. Furthermore, you will receive an Informed Consent form at the bottom of this page and will be debriefed after completion of the study.

If you agree to participate in this study, you will be asked to perform an online survey and an in-lab decision-making task. The total duration of your participation will be approximately 70 minutes (i.e., 20-30 minutes for this survey and 50-60 minutes for the in-lab decision-making task). You will be compensated for your participation with either payment (€5.00) or credits (2.5), independent of your performance. In addition, depending on your decisions in the experiment and the decisions of your interaction partners, you may earn a further monetary payment (between €0 to €18.50). You learn more about this payment from the task instructions soon. After the experiment is finished, your earnings will be calculated and paid out to you to your bank account.
