        <strong> INFORMATION </strong>
         <p> You are invited to voluntarily participate in a research project entitled  <strong> Knowledge Contribution
        to the Group </strong>  being conducted by Daphné Baldassari, a second-year doctoral student at the University
        of Toronto. This research is being supervised by Professor Sarah Kaplan.
        </p>

        <p>The purpose of this research project is to examine individual differences and situations that affect individuals’
            preference to contribute ideas. As a participant, you will complete 2 individual rounds of a task and 10
            rounds of the same task in group and  asked to make some decisions. You will then answer a post-experiment
            survey.
            The task will take around 1 hour and will be conducted in the Behavioural Lab of the Rotman School of
            Management Building. </p>
    </p>
    <p>
        <strong> PARTICIPATION </strong>
        <p> Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. You may withdraw from the study at any time during the
        experimental session without penalty or loss of benefits to which are entitled. You are also free to omit the
        answer to any question without penalty or loss to benefits to which you are entitled. Upon completion of the
    session, you will receive a full written explanation about the purpose of this research. </p>
    </p>
   <p>
        <strong> RISKS </strong>
        <p> The questions and tasks accomplished by participants in the survey are minimally invasive and pertain to thoughts
        and tasks that you may commonly experience in daily life. We acknowledge that participants may feel disappointed
        in their performance on the tasks. However, the tasks in the study were created and selected solely for the study,
        and they are not diagnostic of academic or intellectual ability. You may choose to withdraw from the study at any
    time during the session. </p>
    </p>
    <p>
        <strong> BENEFITS </strong>
        <p>You will have the opportunity to observe the methods that researches use and to contribute to the body of
        knowledge regarding various careers and professions in society. Other benefits you may expect from the study are
        an increased understanding of experimental economics, strategic HR, and an opportunity to contribute to scientific
    research.</p>
    </p>
    <p>
        <strong> CONFIDENTIALITY </strong>
        <p>Your responses will be kept completely confidential: Confidentiality of your research records will be strictly
        maintained by assigning all the data you provide a code number, and all data will be kept by the research team in
        an encrypted file, in a locked office and/or computer and/or stored on encrypted USB keys. The results of this study
        may be reported in conference presentations and academic journals. Note, however, that the responses of individual
        participants will not be identified in any reports of this research. </p>
        <p> The research study you are participating in may be reviewed for quality assurance to make sure that the
            required laws and guidelines are followed. If chosen, (a) representative(s) of the Human Research Ethics
            Program (HREP) may access study-related data and/or consent materials as part of the review.
            All information accessed by the HREP will be upheld to the same level of confidentiality that has been
            stated by the research team. </p>
    </p>
    <p>
        <strong> COMPENSATION </strong>
        <p> Participants will receive one course credit for participating in the study. Participants will also have the
        opportunity to earn a financial bonus for their performance in the study. </p>
    </p>
    <p>
        <strong> WITHDRAWAL </strong>
        <p> Participants who begin the study but choose to withdraw prior to its completion will still receive their full
        research participation credit and financial bonus, and their data will be destroyed. Participants will not be able
        to withdraw their data following completion of the study, as the identifying information will have been removed.
