                <strong>Welcome to the experiment!</strong> You are about to participate in an experiment on decision making. We thank you for participating in our economic study. 
            </p>
            <p>
                Throughout the experiment <strong>you must not use electronic devices, pens, pencils or paper to help you complete the task</strong>. The violation of the rule against communication will result in exclusion from the study and from all payments.
            </p>
            <p>
                This experiment consists of a few tasks. After you read this general instruction, you can proceed to the detailed instructions for each part of the experiment. The amount of money you will be paid in this experiment depends on your decisions. Therefore, it is in your interest to read the general and detailed instructions carefully. 
            </p>
            <p>
                How are the payments in this experiment determined? 
            </p>
            <ol>
                <li>You receive a fixed payment of <strong>EUR 5</strong> for participating in the experiment.</li>
                <li>In each part of the experiment, your payment depends on your <strong>relative performance</strong> on the task. You will receive some <strong>tokens</strong> as you complete each task.</li>
            </ol>
            <p>
                At the end of the experiment, the number of tokens you have earned will be exchanged into EUR using the exchange rate: 
            </p>

                <strong>100 tokens = 1 EUR</strong>
            </p>
            <p>
                Please know that your anonymity is guaranteed. Also, you will not be informed of the identity of the participants who are paired with you. 
            </p>
