<p>Thank you for participating in this study!  The purpose is to study decision-making.  Your participation will take approximately 30 minutes.</p>

<p><strong>Please read these instructions carefully.</strong>  You will be required to complete a quiz to demonstrate that you understand these instructions before you are allowed to continue, so please pay close attention.</p>

<p>The decisions you make during the study will affect how much additional money you earn.  The monetary amounts stated in the study are in terms of an experimental currency, <em>Lira</em>.  At the conclusion of the study, the <em>Lira</em> you earn will be converted to dollars at a rate of 100 <em>Lira</em> per $1 US dollar (USD).  You will also be paid an additional ${{Constants.base_pay}} USD for participating in this study.</p>

<p>There are no tricks in this study.  All statements contained in the instructions are true.  That is, all procedures described in the instructions will be implemented exactly as described. Similarly, all probabilities described regarding the likelihood of an outcome reflect the actual probabilities used to determine that outcome.</p>

<p>Effort will be made to keep the decisions you make strictly confidential.  We are not interested in tracing the decisions that you make back to you personally, and we will not do so.  Any record of your decisions during this study will be tied to your participant number only.</p>
