<p>You will now begin the decision-making period in which your payoff will be determined.</p>  

<p>Assume you are a <strong>division manager</strong>.</p> 

<p>As explained earlier, you manage your division, learn your division’s actual earnings, and report your division’s earnings to corporate headquarters.</p>
