Rounds {{ exp_round_first }} - {{ exp_round_last }} Tasks
At the beginning of Round {{ exp_round_first }}, you will be grouped with 3 other active players as well as 2 passive (charity) players and will remain in the same group for Rounds {{ exp_round_first }} - {{ exp_round_last }}. In each round of Rounds {{ exp_round_first }} - {{ exp_round_last }}, you will be paired with a new active player from your group (so that you will eventually be paired with all 3 other active players, in random order). You will see your Type and the Type of the other active player you will be paired with displayed at the top of the screen. Your pair will jointly decide what quantity to produce using the interface displayed below. You will proceed through a series of Tasks one-by-one.

As you attempt to reach your joint decision, you will have the opportunity to chat with the other active player paired with you to discuss your choice. You can make proposals to the player you are paired with by moving the slider around and then clicking . Your proposal will be shown on your screen as a pink line and on the other player’s screen as a dashed green line on the graph. Similarly, any proposals sent by the other player will be shown under Other’s Proposal at the bottom of your screen and displayed on your screen as a dashed green line.
If you want to accept the Other’s Proposal, click , or submit a proposal for the same quantity using . If you decide you are unsatisfied with your proposal after submitting it, click and you will once again be able to move the slider and submit new proposals. The player you are paired with will be informed of the cancellation by removing the dashed green line from their interface. The same will happen to you if the player you are paired with cancels their proposal. Once you click you will no longer be able to change it.
Prior to submitting and finalizing your decision, you will have the opportunity to chat with the player paired with you to discuss your choice. The chat room will remain open until everyone in your group has made a decision, or time expires, whichever happens first.
You will have {{ time_group_task }} seconds to make your decision in each task. Failure to confirm a choice in the allotted time is equivalent to giving each Type their payoff corresponding to a quantity of {{ disagreement_quantity }}.
If a Round {{ exp_round_first }} - {{ exp_round_last }} Task is chosen as the “Task that counts for payment”, one active pair will be selected at random, and then that pair’s decision will determine the earnings for everyone in the group.
