<p>Please imagine that you have suffered a torn ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) in your left knee. You have visited a doctor that has specialized in knee injuries. After conducting an MRI scan, the expert told you about two possible treatment options for this injury:</p>

<ol TYPE="A">
    <li>follow a conservative approach (knee-brace, crutches and physiotherapy)</li>
    <li>undergo surgery (followed by physiotherapy)</li>
</ol>

<p>Yet, the doctor did not state any preference regarding the two options.</p>
