<p>In all parts, the basic rules are the same:</p>
<p>In <strong>round 1</strong>, you make your first claim:</p>

If your claim is <u>not successful</u> ✖ (you claim more tokens than are in the pot) …
<ul><li style="list-style-type:'... '"> you earn nothing.</li>
    <li style="list-style-type:'... '"> the respective part of the study ends immediately.</li>
    </ul>

If your claim is <u>successful</u> ✔ (there are more tokens in the pot than you claim) …
<ul><li style="list-style-type:'... '"> you receive the claimed tokens.</li>
    <li style="list-style-type:'... '"> you continue to the second round.</li>
    <li style="list-style-type:'... '"> the pot replenishes. In round 2, it contains the same (unknown) number of tokens as in round 1.</li>

       <ul> <p>If you reach <strong>round 2</strong>, you will have to claim again.</p>
           If your claim in the second round is <u>not successful</u> ✖ …
            <ul><li style="list-style-type:'... '"> you only earn the tokens claimed in round 1.</li></ul>

        If your claim in the second round is <u>successful</u> ✔ …
            <ul><li style="list-style-type:'... '"> you earn the tokens claimed in round 1 and 2.</li></ul></ul>

<p>You can earn up to €3.00 in each round. That is, one token is worth €0.03.</p>
<p>You only make two potentially payout-relevant decisions in each part. and only one part is randomly selected for payout. You do not know which part counts.
   Therefore, you should <strong>take your time and think equally carefully about each decision in each part.</strong></p>

<p>The three parts differ in what you can learn about the number of tokens in the pot. Depending on the part, you may get an early warning system.</p>
