You will take part in a strategic game played on a triangular board with two other players. In each round, all players negotiate to select a cell and form an agreement that determines how the total reward is split.
Your goal is to earn as many points as possible by selecting cells that give you a higher share. To gain a larger share, you should try to agree on a cell closer to your own position. To earn points, you must form an agreement with at least one other player by selecting the same cell and holding it for 10 seconds.
Your group may include a different combination of human and Artificial Intelligent Agents(AI) . It may involve two human partners or include one or two AI players. The AI players have been trained by observing human gameplay.
On the game board, you will always appear at the bottom corner of the triangle, while the other two players appear on the upper left and upper right corners. You can see their moves in real time, and they can see yours.
Each round lasts up to 120 seconds. The total reward shrinks over time. The faster you agree, the more everyone earns. At the end of the game, only one round will be randomly selected to determine your final payment.
How to make a proposal: Click on a cell to propose that allocation. A ring in your player color appears around the cell; the earlier you click, the larger your ring.
How to retract a proposal: Click anywhere outside the board. Your colored ring disappears, and you no longer support any allocation.
How to form an agreement: When two or more players select the same cell, an agreement is formed, illustrated by a red dot in the cell. A timer showing "Time Until the Agreement is Finalized" starts counting down from 10 seconds.
What you see: If the timer reaches zero, the game ends. If any member retracts or changes their choice, the agreement breaks and the timer disappears.
How to: Move your mouse over any cell.
What you see: The point value under each silhouette shows that player’s share if that cell is selected. To gain a larger share, try to agree on a cell closer to your own position.
A countdown at the top shows each point's current value. As time passes, the monetary value of each point decreases until it reaches zero at 120 seconds.
When you win: If an agreement holds uninterrupted for 10 seconds, the game ends immediately. Each player in that agreement earns: (cell point value) × (current monetary value per point).
If time runs out: If no coalition forms within 120 seconds, the game ends with no payoffs.
You will play several rounds of this game. However, only one round will be randomly selected at the end, and your earnings from that round will determine your final payoff.
Each round begins with a short wait page. The game starts automatically once all three players are ready.
