Title of the study: Economic decision making

Length of the study: about 30 minutes.

Payment: A flat fee of $1.00 upon completion of a quiz plus a bonus up to $6 that depends on your decisions and the decisions of others.

What this study is about: This is a study of economic decision making. You will make decisions for which you will receive a bonus up to $6 depending on your and others’ decisions, in addition to a flat fee of $1.00 for completing a quiz. As this is a multi-player task, you may need to wait for up to 15 minutes to start the experiment. If there are not enough players in 15 minutes, you can still get 1 dollar after completing the quiz and waiting for 15 minutes.

Risks: There are no foreseeable risks or discomforts.

Benefits: There are no direct personal benefits for participation.

Voluntary participation: Participation in this study is entirely voluntary, and you may withdraw from the study at any time and for any reason. There are no costs to you or any other party.

Confidentiality: All decisions will be made anonymously. And results will only be analyzed for the research purposes.
