    You will receive a base payment of $5 for completing the study. Payment will be made through Cougar Cash at a later
    date.

    You will additionally have a chance at winning $75. Your performance in the experiment will significantly impact
    your probability of winning $75. In each period of the experiment, you will complete a task for which you will earn
    Lira, an experimental currency. The Lira you earn over all periods will be used to determine the probability you
    have of winning $75. There are 10 periods in this session. Earning more Lira will increase your probability of
    winning the additional Cougar Cash prize of $75. Top performers may increase their chance of winning by up to 5
    times or by 500%. Poor performance can also drastically decrease your probability of winning. The average
    participant will have a 5% chance of winning $75. If you are selected as a winner, you will receive $80 through
    Cougar Cash when payment is made at a later date rather than the $5 for participating.
