Welcome to the Online Research Study on Behavioral and Experimental Economics

This study is conducted by Ali Demir, an MSc student in Economics, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Susann Fiedler.

The study will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

The information gathered from this study will help us gain a better understanding of human decision-making. To our knowledge, there are no risks associated with participating in this research study. We will ensure, to the best of our ability, that your answers in this study remain confidential. The records of your responses will be coded anonymously. You will not be asked to provide your name or any sensitive biographical information. Instead, the system will arbitrarily assign a subject code number to your records. To ensure the transparency of our scientific findings, the fully anonymized dataset will be published, making it accessible to other researchers. The potential purposes for future analyses of this data are unpredictable at this time. Participation in this study is voluntary, and you are free to withdraw at any time. However, please note that only participants who complete the survey up to the last page will be compensated.

You will be asked to make decisions and indicate your preferences, in addition to perform a task. You will be paid £2 for your time and based on your decisions, you can earn up to £1 in addition to your payoff. Kindly use only Desktop devices to participate in this study. You will be compensated within a few days.

Taking excessive time will result in the termination of your session and the cancellation of your payment.
